About OZTL-net
Teacher Librarians are major stakeholders in the knowledge economy. As key players they must lead Australian schools, teachers, students and parents into the educational milieu of the 21st century.
OZTL-net was originally created as a discussion list for information professionals working in Australian schools by the teacher librarianship academic staff at the School of Information Studies, Charles Sturt University.
Since then it has grown to a community of more than 4,000 teacher librarians and information professionals. It is intended to be an effective management tool for practising TLs, and is an electronic service uniquely designed to meet the professional information needs of Australia’s school library managers and educators.
Our strategic intention is to unite all parties who share a considerable interest in the latest developments, issues and initiatives in teacher librarianship and school libraries in Australia.
OZTL-net Discussion List
The OZTL-net Discussion List is open to all members of the Australian TL community and any people with a genuine interest in teacher librarianship and/or school libraries.
